On April 11, the preparatory work of the 11th Sichuan Agricultural Expo was held in Chengdu.

At the preparatory meeting, Xu Bin, chief agronomist of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, attended the meeting and gave a speech on how to improve the effectiveness of the exhibition and continue to promote the marketization process of the Sichuan Agricultural Expo. Xu Bin requested that Sichuan International Expo Group should fulfill the mission of state-owned enterprises, perform the functions and responsibilities of the organizers of the market-oriented exhibition of the Agricultural Expo, take multiple measures at the same time, effectively improve the marketization level and effectiveness of the Agricultural Expo, do a good job in implementation, and strive to make this Agricultural Expo a fruitful and bright agricultural event.

Wang Wanjun, deputy general manager of Sichuan International Expo Group, introduced the highlights of this agricultural fair and market-oriented reform measures. Zhao Gang, assistant general manager of Sichuan International Expo Group, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Sichuan International Convention and Exhibition Co., Ltd., introduced the overall plan, preparatory progress, and booth declaration methods of the 11th Sichuan Agricultural Expo.    

The meeting mentioned that this year, the Expo Group has put forward many innovative measures in the invitation of buyers. The first is to rely on the "Tianfu Granary" overseas promotion conference and the promotion meeting outside the province to strengthen the invitation of overseas and foreign buyers; The second is to build an incentive mechanism for buyers to invite exhibitors, and buyers to invite peers, and give corresponding rewards; The third is to equip exhibitors in various cities (prefectures) with "agricultural museums" to gain an in-depth understanding of the needs of exhibitors, finely sort out and screen buyer resources, and accurately invite buyers with purchasing intentions.
