The 11th Sichuan Agricultural Expo(SAE) Working Conference was held in Chengdu on April 11th. Xu Bin, the chief agronomist of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, attended the meeting and delivered a speech on how to enhance the effectiveness of the expo and continue to promote the marketization process of the Sichuan Agricultural Expo. Xu Bin required that the Sichuan International Expo Group should fulfill its mission as a state-owned enterprise, perform all the functions and responsibilities of the market-oriented organizer of SAE, take multiple measures to effectively enhance the marketization level and effectiveness of the expo, and ensure the implementation of all tasks to strive to make this year’s SAE a fruitful event.

Wang Wanjun, the deputy general manager of the Sichuan International Expo Group, introduced the highlights of the 11th SAE. Zhao Gang, the assistant general manager of the Sichuan International Expo Group and chairman of the Sichuan International Exhibition Co., Ltd., introduced the overview of the expo and progress of the preparatory work of the 11th SAE.

The meeting mentioned that this year, the Expo Group has proposed many innovative measures in inviting buyers. Firstly, it will strengthen the invitation of overseas and out-of-province buyers by relying on the "Tianfu Granary" overseas promotion conferences and out-of-province promotion conferences. Secondly, it will establish an incentive mechanism for inviting buyers, encouraging exhibitors to invite buyers and providing corresponding rewards. Thirdly, it will assign "SAE Manager Service" to deeply understand exhibitor’s needs, helping exhibitors and buyers in conducting production and sales connections..

The meeting introduced that the 11th Sichuan Agricultural Expo will be held from September 4th to 7th, 2025 at the New Century International Convention and Exhibition Center in Chengdu. The 11th SAE aims to showcase the achievements of agricultural modernization and the new picture of rural revitalization in Sichuan. The exhibition will focus on the functional positioning of trade effectiveness and industrial synergy, with "display, transaction, and cooperation" as the core, and set up three sections: "Tianfu Granary" - Building Circles and Strengthening Chains, Comprehensive Display, and Poverty Alleviation Industry Display. During the expo, a series of customized trade activities such as SAE matchmaking events and Agricultural New Product Release Conferences will be held around the four key points of promoting consumption, trade, investment, and brand building, to open up channels for "Sichuan-made" agricultural products to enter the national market.
