In order to speed up the promotion and application of high-yield and high-quality varieties and advanced applicable technologies, and give full play to the supporting role of science and technology in the large-scale yield improvement of major crops such as grain and oil, on January 10, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued the "Notice on Promoting and Releasing the Main Technologies of Agricultural Leading Varieties in Sichuan Province in 2025", and selected 50 agricultural leading varieties and 84 agricultural main technologies.

Among the 50 leading agricultural varieties, 10 rice varieties such as Pinxiangyou Jiaozhen, Yixiangyou 2115, Chuankangyou 6308, Chuanzhongyou 3607, Chuankangyou Simiao, Yiyou 1611, Chuanyou 6203 and Hanyou 73, 5 wheat varieties such as Mianmai 902, Chuanmai 104 and Chuanmai 93, 6 corn varieties such as Chuandan 99, Chengdan 716 and Tongyu 609, 5 rapeseed varieties such as Chuanyou 81, Fangyou 777 and Chuanyou 83, and 2 potato varieties Mianshu 25. Sichuan taro 50, 1 soybean variety Nanxia Dou 25, 1 peanut variety Shuhua 9, 1 barley variety Kangqing 11. The special economic cropping category is second, including 11 varieties such as Chuanjiao No. 1, Keweihong No. 10, Chuancui No. 13, Chengxian 30, Hongguan No. 6, Shuluo No. 11, and Chuanjin No. 10. In addition, there are 8 leading varieties of animal husbandry and aquatic products, including Sichuan Township Black Pig, Shuxuanhua Cattle, Daheng 799 Broiler Chicken, Tianfu Nonghua Mayu Meat Duck Supporting System, Shuxing No. 1 Meat Rabbit, Long-snouted Bass "Chuanjiang No. 1", Aba Zhongbee, and Chuanyou No. 1.

Among the 84 main agricultural technologies, there are 19 grain and oil crops, 20 special crops, 11 agricultural machinery and processing, 9 green prevention and control, 16 healthy breeding, and 9 resources and environment.

It is reported that the above agricultural leading varieties and agricultural main technologies are selected by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs around the major technical needs of the province's agricultural high-quality, green and low-carbon development and rural industry revitalization, through open solicitation, preliminary evaluation of promotion units, expert group review and other procedures, which will provide strong scientific and technological support for promoting the construction of a higher level of "Tianfu granary" in the new era and promoting the comprehensive revitalization of the countryside.
